A can do a work in 8 days, B can do it in 12 days, and C can do it in 24 days. If they all work together, how long will it take to complete the work?

Answer: B. 3 days
A's rate is 1/8, B's is 1/12, and C's is 1/24. Together, they work at a rate of 1/8 + 1/12 + 1/24 = 1/4. Thus, they will complete the work in 4 days.
